OUR OBJECTIVE – To raise funds due to the loss of income during the COVID 19 epidemic, which saw no income for many months, yet management paid all expenses due.
OUR TARGET – To raise R20 000 toward the 2021 Budget of NCC
THE HOW – By having a Fund raiser auctioning off racing pigeons that will partake in 3 separate races during the 2021 racing season.
Each member of Noordheuwel Pigeon Club will donate 5 pigeons towards this competition, (which could end up being approximately 50 pigeons in total.) Buyers must be advised that the pigeon remains the property of the member.
The winner of the competition will be the pigeon with the most points after three legs. Top 50 pigeons will get points, first getting 50 points and 50th pigeon getting 1 point.
Only pigeons with 2020 rings may partake in this competition.
Minimum bid will be R1000.
THE OPERATIONS
20% of all money raised will go to NCC (with R20 000 being the maximum)
5% will go to NDK (Noordheuwel Duiwe/Pigeon Club.) (R5000 being the maximum)
75% will go towards prize money.
Top 5 pigeons will get paid out.
Of the total prize money 60% will go to the highest bidder and 40% will go to the trainer/owner of the pigeon.
The pigeon remains the property of the trainer/owner of the pigeon.

Saturday 26 June 2021 3pm for 3:30 START.

Race 1 03 July 2021 from Edenburg Approx. 440Km
Race 2 17 July 2021 from Springfontein Approx. 505Km
Race 3 21 August 2021 from Hanover Approx. 640Km
All race results will be placed on club notice boards.
